Eyeshadow is the product that can bring a whole makeup look together, it's bold and it's brilliant! That being said I couldn't wait to try these out!
When my mum showed me these I thought, cool toned, dark dramatic smoky eye, or warm pink in the crease and gold on the lid. I've never used Bareminerals eyeshadow before so I didn't know what to aspect.
This eyeshadow duo is called The Inspiration; it consists of two shades called Muse(the lighter shade) and Passion. Muse is very light and would be a great highlight shade for the inner corner or the brow bone. Where as, Passion is a soft purple with hints of shimmer. I think Passion would look amazing as the lid colour in a dark smoky eye.
Here we have the eyeshadow duo called The Flashback; it consists of two shades called Deja Vu(being the silver eyeshadow) and Amnesia. These colours are very cool toned which I normally wouldn't go for, however they are great for a smoky eye(if I'm being brave enough to do it). Amnesia is a grey/black colour and would be great if you wanted to give the crease definition. Deja Vu is a gorgeous silver shade, I can see myself as having it all over the lid. But if you spray Fix+ onto your brush, it becomes shiny and has a foiled essence to it.
Lastly, this eyeshadow duo is called The 15 minutes; the light pink shade is called Page Six and the other Most Requested. I love the pink shade it's super light and would look gorgeous in summer with golds. The red/burgundy shade would be great for a fall eye look, adding some cranberry tones to give a soft yet bold effect.
Overall, I am really pleased with these eye shadows. They are pigmented and long-wearing. The packaging is good as it's small, sturdy and there's a mirror inside too. Therefore, it can be thrown into your bag for on the go and there's no worry about it breaking. The colour range is great, I can't wait to fully use these!
