My Makeup Storage | FreshOutTheRunway

I love makeup! There's no way I can deny that, I have come to the conclusion that I have an obsession. Most of this makeup I bought myself, or I have been given it as a gift.

I store my makeup in a plastic acrylic case thing ( I don't know what its called haha), but it's the best thing my parents have bought me for Christmas. I'm not too sure where they got it from but I will leave some links down below to similar ones. I keep all my makeup in this, it doesn't look like it would hold a lot but it does. Kinda like a tardis.

The second picture shows you where I store my lipsticks. The case they are held in, does come out and that block can also be used to put products in. I love this because I can see all of my lipsticks, so when I'm in a rush in the morning for college ( it happens more than I would like) I can grab a lipstick and I'm good to go!

The third image is where I store my foundations, colour correcting things etc. It fits perfectly all the things I use in a morning. Your probably wondering why I have different foundation shades. Sometimes I tan, and sometimes I don't. It takes too much time in my opinion, so I keep shades so when I can be bothered to tan, I can match my face to my body haha. I think everyone does that tbh.

In the fourth, I hold my concealers, lip-glosses, eyeliners, basically most things. Because the boxes are only slim, I can only fit those in there. The only thing I hate about that, is that you cant see  what products you are pulling out. I'm forever sat there pulling 5/6 products out before finding what I want.

Lastly, the draw underneath all of that I keep my powders etc. I love this draw, it's my favourite part of the storage. It holds so much and is easily assessable.

I hoped you liked reading this and seeing how I store my makeup. Please leave a comment on what blog posts you would like to see next!

ELLE Magazine June 2016 | FreshOutTheRunway

Walking into my local Sainsbury's, I immediately noticed that ELLE were giving away a sample size of the new Benefit Brow Pencil along with their magazine. I've seen so many people uploading photos on Instagram of the new range, so when I seen this I had to pick one up.

Benefit have always been one of my favourite makeup brands, the quality of their products are amazing! I love eyebrows, they can transform and shape any makeup look. So I had high hopes for this!

Normally, my go to is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in medium brown, I've been using it for around 9 months now, and it has never failed me. I can't say that I am brilliant at brows, some days they can be twin sisters and other days they aren't even related (there's no in-between).

The packaging for the product is beautiful, I love the metallic silver! I also love the box it comes in. The fact that Benefit have added a 3 step guide to doing your brows on the side, just adds that extra pop!

The product itself glided on smoothly, easy to shape and easy to fill in the brows. The colour was shade 2 (I think), so for someone who has blonde hair and doesn't want a dark intense brow, it really worked. The only negative I have for this product is that it is quite a thick application, so if you are looking for a bold brow, it's great. As long as you use soft strokes and take your time, you should be good to go!

Please comment down below whether you want to try the product, or you have any holy grail brow products! I hope you enjoyed reading, and if you want to try the brow pencil before it comes out, I highly advise buying the ELLE magazine in case you don't like it.

TK Maxx Mini Haul | FreshOutTheRunway

As you know, I love TK Maxx! It's one of my favourite shops to go in. You can either walk in an find a mini Sephora, then wish you had an endless amount of money in your bank. Or you can walk in and find nothing! Luckily when I walked into my local one, I found lots, hence the mini haul.

What I picked up:
- Burt's Bees lip gloss - £2.99
- Victorias Secret Body Shimmer - £3.00
- Too Faced Lipstick - £6.99
- Too Faced Glitter Glue - £8.99
- Hand Cream - £1.00

Every product I bought was under £10 each, which is insane especially for Too Faced products. My total came to £22.97, it may seem a lot but considering Too Faced lipsticks are £17 each, I got a great deal.

The Burt's Bees lip gloss is stunning, it's a mauve pink. I apply a lip liner then the lip gloss. If you don't like a super glossy lip these would be perfect for you, they give a layer of shine but aren't too intense that when you wear it your lips look wet!

Every time I walked into TK Maxx, I would see the VS body shimmer but couldn't bring myself to pay £12.99 for it. So when I walked in again I noticed that it had been reduced in the sale for £3! Yep £3, you read correctly haha. They had lots as well, so if you are interested in one, make sure to go take a look. I thought this would be perfect to dust all over my shoulders, cheekbones, basically anywhere when I go on holiday. When I have a tan I prefer to adds lots of bronzer, and this would be perfect!

I recently got given a Too faced lipstick as a gift for my birthday, so when I seen another I instantly went for it! The shade is called 'Stiletto Red'. It's a deep red, with would look perfect with an intense cat eye wing. The consistency is extremely pigmented and creamy, Too Faced never let me down.

As well as, I picked up the Too Faced Glitter Glue. My excitement when I seen this was through the roof. I have been wanting this for ages but it has been sold out everywhere I go, and when I seen it, my eyes lit up aha! I haven't tired it yet but if it's good enough for Jaclyn Hill then it's good enough for me! Literally my motto in life!

Lastly, the hand cream. It was only £1, my hands normally get really dry throughout the day, and I thought I could throw it in my bag. I think it's really cute and smells divine. It is 'Honey and Almond' scented, it's gorgeous!

I really hoped you enjoyed this mini haul, next time you walk by a TK Maxx be sure to check it out, you never know what treasures you'll find!

Please leave me a comment if you have found any treasures!
